Man Shows Dog How to Fetch

Wired's Gadget Lab had a hilarious and useful dog gadget in it's August 16th issue.

GoDogGo Gadget

GoDogGo Remote Fetch Ball Launcher lets a dog play fetch with itself so you don't have to keep handling slobbery balls or die of boredom before your dog is done. The quote that sold me is on the website's testiomonial page:
In two days I trained my dog to put the balls back in the bucket. It was so easy and now she plays with GoDogGo for an hour at time. It’s definitely her favorite dog toy.
• Brad - Savannah, GA

The funniest quote about the product is from the Wired reviewer:
Too bad the screeching sound of the motor winding up for the pitch had my canine cowering in the corner. And I had a hard time persuading her that she could avoid getting beaned if she'd stop standing right in front of it. -- Catherine Howard

Hands down the best thing about the site is Todd, trying to teach his puppy Titus how to use the gadget by demoing it for him.

By demoing, I mean watching the ball fly out of the machine with his whole body, racing his puppy for the ball on his hands and knees, picking up the ball in his mouth and "walking" back to the machine still on all fours, and dropping the ball back in the bucket with his mouth and getting into position for the next ball. Believe me, I can't do it justice with a description, you just have to check out the videos of Todd from AZ on the GoDogGo website.
